The Red Car by Lindsay Brown

Oh man, I had so much fun on this one! I did this little guy's one-year photos last year and he is just as smiley and cute as ever! It is so much fun to get to see these kids grow up, and to get to document these special times in their lives!

Dapper Dude by Lindsay Brown

This beautiful, growing family was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. Their son is the cutest little boy and full of curiosity and wonder. We had a great time exploring the trails, looking for sticks and picking leaves.

Plus, he had the best outfit ever. I'm a sucker for suspenders on little guys!

Zuma by Lindsay Brown

Welcome Zuma! I know, the coolest name, right?! This lovely family just welcomed their newest addition about 6 weeks back and he is as cute as cute can be! They are totally the up-for-an-adventure type of family, so they were happy to pack up the kids and head to the outdoors for their newborn/family shoot. I have mostly done newborn shoots indoors (which I LOVE), but ya know, second baby and all, things loosen up a bit and taking your newborn out into the woods is more of a "Sure, why not?" kind of idea than a "What? Take my baby where?" kind of idea.

So off we went hiking down some trails, barely avoiding the poison oak lurking around every corner, and frolicking in the meadow nearby. We had such a great time and definitely washed our ankles with cold water and soap when we all got home!

And can we all agree that the beard deserves a gallery of it's own? If the kids weren't so cute, I'd accuse it of stealing the show!

God Strengthens by Lindsay Brown

A couple of weeks ago I got the privilege of being in the delivery room to watch and photograph my newest nephew's birth. Witnessing the miracle of birth is one of the most amazing experiences you could ever have! The picture above is one of my favorite I've ever taken, the emotions you feel when you hold your baby for the first time are out of this world. It was so meaningful to capture this moment, the fatigue, the joy, the relief, every emotion is bigger than life.

I went back to visit the next day and caught a few more pics of this newly born miracle, Ezekiel, which means "God Strengthens." Couldn't be happier for my family to have this little caboose on the end of their family train. Kid number 5, I might add!!

I'm Two! by Lindsay Brown

This little cutie is turning two. I had the privilege of doing his one-year shoot last year and it has been so fun to see him grow into a handsome, smart, playful, silly, kind...and the list goes on...little two-year-old. He and my girls have had some fun times together and it is so fun to think ahead on all the years they will get to be pals!

We headed into the hills for this combo two-year/family shoot, which turned out to coincide with their dog, Hugo's birthday as well! This was my first shoot with a dog, and I loved it! He was such a good sport, even when we tied the balloons on him for a few shots! The sun was perfect and this little guy was very excited to roam the wide-open spaces...

I could have posted a gazillion more pictures, this shoot is a favorite of mine so far! If you want to see the rest of their gallery, click on any of the photos above.
